Pokémon Go Night

Join Zollinger Library for Pokémon Go Night beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10. Trainers are welcome to join fellow Pokémon enthusiasts for our monthly meeting. Share secrets, trade Pokémon, and enjoy friendly battles. Afterwards, join us for a walk around campus and raid hour at 6 p.m. Snacks provided!

Pirate Week Scavenger Hunt

Ahoy, mateys! Can you find the pirate booty hidden in Zollinger Library? Join us Sept. 15 to Sept. 19 for the ultimate treasure hunt. Use our special map to solve clues and uncover the pirate treasure lost in the library. Complete the hunt for a chance to win a gift certificate. Also, celebrate National Talk Like a Pirate Day on Sept. 19. Bonus points if you dress like a pirate!

Hobbit Day Cooking with Astrid

Celebrate Hobbit Day at Zollinger Library with a special presentation by author Astrid Tuttle Winegar at 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22. Winegar's trilogy of cookbooks, “Cooking for Halflings and Monsters,” will open the gates to Middle Earth and delight the audience with “Lord of the Rings” inspired dishes that will appease the appetites of any Hobbit. Winegar will have cookbooks to sell and sign at the event.

Comic Book Day Extravaganza

Are you a comic book fan? Do you have a great collection of comic books or comic memorabilia? Now is your chance to show them off! Celebrate Comic Book Day at Zollinger Library at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, with a comic book trade show. Bring in your collection to display, share your favorite comics, trade with others, and make the deals of a lifetime with fellow fans. Also, enjoy the classic 1940s Superman cartoons by Max Fleischer along with popcorn, activities, and more. We’ll provide table space. Dress as your favorite comic book hero to add to the fun!

September Films

During the month of September, Zollinger Library presents action-packed films. Join us at 4 p.m. every Thursday in the conference room for a series of action films all month long. The non-stop thrills will leave you on the edge of your seat. Popcorn will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
