Zollinger Library at �鶹����-Gallup will host the following events during the month of May 2026.

"Star Wars" Day

May the 4th be with you! Join Zollinger Library on Monday, May 4, for a “Star Wars” celebration. There will be coloring sheets, a scavenger hunt, games, and more. The festivities begin at 9 a.m. and will be available until 6 p.m. Enjoy a galaxy of fun at a library not so far away.

Z-Con: Mini-Comic Con

Zollinger Library will host Z-Con, our own mini-comic convention, beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 7. Join us for a day of activities, including special guest speakers, presentations and workshops, vendors, opportunities to talk about the art, free comics, a cosplay competition, and much more. This event is free and open to everyone. See below for schedule:

• 10 a.m. – Morning Mixer: Chat and enjoy some coffee and juice
• 11 a.m. – Guest speaker Kayla Shaggy – Comic Artist
• Noon – Meet guests, talk to vendors, and engage with activities
• 1 p.m. – Guest speaker Dale Deforest – Comic Artist
• 2 p.m. – Cosplay Contest

Karaoke and Game Night

Join Zollinger Library for karaoke and games from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, May 11. We’ll have board games in the commons for anyone to play. In between rounds, sing your favorite song in the atrium — karaoke style on our new sound system. There will snacks and drinks as well.

Relax and Paint Night

Join Zollinger Library for a night of painting and relaxation from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, May 13. We will have canvases and paint available for participants to paint whatever they choose. There will also be relaxing music and light snacks. Let the stress of the semester melt away and enjoy a calm evening with us.

Sci-Fi Fest

During the month of May, Zollinger Library will be screening sci-fi films. Join us at 4 p.m. on select Thursdays in the conference room for these out-of-this-world films. Popcorn will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
